Oh my gosh! I had the most awkward encounter today. I went to the corner store to pick up some cheap glucose monitor strips and a couple other items that I thought I would pick up too as long as I was there. They've been working pretty well for me so far so I thought I'd pick up another set and keep using them for now. If it wasn't for the strips I wouldn't have even come out of the house today because the weather is pretty horrible. There's been almost nonstop rain this entire week. Anyways, back to the embarrassing story. So I haven't seen this girl Jennifer since high school and we both happened to be running in from the rain and completely ran into each other! Neither one of us could see very well from underneath our umbrellas. Getting to talk to her was pleasant. That part wasn't awkward at all, but I just felt like such a klutz. I think she did too though so we kind of laughed it off. Something good did come out of it though. We exchanged phone numbers and e-mails are are making plans to get together again. We used to spend quite a bit of time together back then so it will be nice to revisit that friendship!
