My contacts worked out ok yesterday, my eyes were itchy a lot. I did not get as many comments about them as I thought, only two. One of the girls from the department next to ours asked me if I could still see. When I told her about how I was thinking about getting the surgery, she asked me “what is lasik?” and I thought she was joking at first. Apparently she never heard of it referred to as that. I told her what it was and she was definitely against any type of unnecessary surgery on her eyes. Other than that, it was fine. I had to take them out as soon as I got home though, I absolutely have to find the new contacts and make and appointment at my eye doctor. I just keep putting it off for whatever reason. Either I am scared I will not have enough money, or that they will not take my insurance. I guess I could put all this uncertainty at easy if I would just call and ask huh? I will put it on the list of things to do today. I am going to opt to go with the glasses though, it is just too annoying to wear the contacts, and doing so is probably hurting my eyes and making them worse. I am not even sure if I should use the unused contacts I have because they are pretty old.
