Our daughter’s room has gotten a little bit out of control, with both Christmas and her birthday coming so close together, practically right on top of one another, there isn’t any space left in her bedroom to walk. I think that we are going to have to empty the shelves at Wal-Mart of all varieties of childrens organizers to remedy this problem. We need something for shoes, something for stuffed animals and lord knows how many things for clothes and miscellaneous toys. We gave her the biggest of all the bedrooms in the house, knowing that she had quite a bit of stuff for a girl her age, but it seems like she has so many things that her room has been swallowed up and now the excess is spilling over into her sister’s room and several of the rooms downstairs. I’m really hoping that this is all just a simple organizational problem that can be solved by figuring out a place for everything and actually keeping it there. I’d hate to think that we’ve given her so much that we’ve spoiled her to the point that her possessions have already outgrown her living space before she’s even out of elementary school.
