TRIP TO CANCUN
We landed in Cancun and I found out that I forgot to pack my diabetes supplies. I looked all through my cases and in Tara's cases as well, but I had not packed them. Or so I thought. I noticed that my check in luggage had a note in it from the TSA. They had gone through my case. I could never prove it but I'll bet that they couldn't identify the supplies and took them out. Now I was in trouble. But Tara said that they must have supplies to buy in Cancun. There had to be diabetic people here too. I said I didn't know where to look, but that I would contact the front desk at the hotel and they could probably tell me. When I asked the first person he smiled and said he did not know, but that the manager would know when he got in. I was to come back later. Okay. I took a walk and saw a number of drugstores, so I went in. They had a lot of supplies, so I bought a few things. The prices were really good on many of the items, so later on in the trip I went back and bought some more items. Tara and I had a great time in Cancun. It was our first trip in over 10 years. I'd say we earned it. Tara wanted to extend our trip, and I was tempted, but I had to get back to the plant.
